Welcome to Ekam Satt Foundation! Established in 2017 by Ameya Dabli and Purvi Soali, we venture where others cannot. Former corporate professionals, we utilize music to create social impact, offering music therapy concerts and mental well-being workshops. Our ‘Ekam Satt – Mission For Nation’ initiative focuses on mental health awareness and cultural appreciation through engaging workshops and uplifting performances. We strive to shift attitudes and reduce stigma surrounding mental health issues, educating youth about India’s diverse cultural heritage. Join us as we promote unity, compassion, and positive change through the transformative power of music and education.
The Ekam Satt Foundation's mission is to advance mindfulness and mental prosperity through music. We offer custom-made workshops and music treatment for equipped powers, paramilitary, respectful powers, and communities. Music's capacity to upgrade disposition, diminish uneasiness, and invigorate cognitive work is well documented. Through our programs, we tackle the mending control of music to support all-encompassing wellness and cultivate a sense of association with the common world's intelligence and excellence.
Our vision is to foster global wellness and all-encompassing healing through the transformative power of music. As energetic loyalists and social advocates, we point to using our melodic skills to form impactful encounters that uplift millions worldwide. We are devoted to coming to all citizens, particularly our real heroes within the Armed Forces, Paramilitary, and Civil Forces, contributing to nation-building and supporting Ek Bharat, Shresth Bharat.
Mental illness can stem from a variety of factors, both genetic and environmental. Understanding these factors can help in developing better prevention and treatment strategies.
Genetic Factors: Mental illness is more common in individuals with a family history of mental disorders. Certain genes may increase the risk of developing mental illnesses, which can be triggered by life situations.
Environmental Stressors: Exposure to environmental stressors, such as traumatic events, significant life changes, or chronic stress, can significantly impact mental health. Inflammatory conditions, exposure to toxins, and substance abuse during critical developmental periods, such as in the womb, can also be linked to the onset of mental illness.
Neurotransmitter Imbalances: Neurotransmitters are brain chemicals that communicate signals across neural networks. When these networks are impaired, the functioning of nerve receptors and systems changes, potentially leading to depression and other emotional disorders.
Chronic Physical Illness: Long-term physical illnesses, such as heart disease, diabetes, or chronic pain, can contribute to mental health issues. The stress of managing a chronic condition, coupled with the potential for physical limitations and pain, can lead to depression and anxiety.
Social Isolation and Loneliness: Lack of social connections and support can severely impact mental health. Feelings of isolation and loneliness are significant risk factors for depression, anxiety, and other mental health issues.
Economic Hardships: Financial stress and instability can contribute to mental health problems. The constant worry about meeting basic needs, such as housing and food, can lead to chronic stress, anxiety, and depression.
Substance Abuse: The misuse of alcohol, drugs, and other substances can both trigger and exacerbate mental health issues. Substance abuse can alter brain chemistry and lead to dependency, further complicating mental health treatment.
This all means that giving is a much more important element of happiness than receiving. Being able to give makes us feel like we're making a big impact on someone's life.
